Irving is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Irving is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I visited this car wash about two weeks ago and paid for a car wash. Unfortunately, during the wash, the machine damaged my windshield wiper. I immediately brought the issue to the employee’s attention and asked for the incident to be reported and for the cost of the wash to be refunded. I was initially told that the car wash was not responsible for the damage. However, after I explained that I intended to report the incident, the employee took my phone number and told me that the manager would contact me and take care of the issue. Unfortunately, I never received a call or any follow-up. I understand that accidents can happen, but what was most disappointing was the lack of communication and customer service after the damage occurred. I paid for a service and expected my vehicle to be returned in the same condition it was in when I arrived. I am posting this review to share my experience and hopefully encourage the management team to improve how they handle customer complaints and vehicle-damage incidents.

I cannot believe this cost me $30. These pictures were taken immediately after the wash and my car still has visible dirt, grime, and cat footprints on it. I can't imagine how much worse it would have been had I gone with the cheapest $15 option... which is still way overpriced.

The attendant was very nice and helped me with which car wash I wanted. It was super busy on Saturday. I love the fact they give out free dashboard wipes and car fresheners.

Do NOT risk your car at this place. While my car was in the tunnel mid-wash, the entire thing came to an emergency stop because someone in front of me was apparently braking. I wasn’t sure if I hit the guy in front of me or the emergency halt rumbled my car- I couldn’t see through the soap, only brake lights, until I turned on my wipers and saw I was extremely close to the person in front of me.. They came to my window and told me everything was fine, that I hit nobody and they restarted the machine. I saw that my car was damaged (bumper falling off and various scratches and dents) when I exited the tunnel. “Manager” Sam came to look and told me that I “would’ve known” if I’d hit the guy in front of me, and the fact that he drove off should tell me that nothing happened. In regard to the machine possibly damaging my car, he said any damage I sustained was a worsening of “previous damage” to my car, so the car wash is not liable. There was zero previous damage, which I told him repeatedly. Mind you, this was after he unsuccessfully tried to shove my bumper back into place! Save yourself the risk and money and wash your car by hand!! Don’t give these people your business, they will g

EDIT: 2-6-26 4:30pm Friday: Thank God for people like Maria. I hope you get her next time you go through the customer pay stand. Simply through her kindness and professionalism she turned my really, really, bad day into a good one. I will forever remember the kindness & hope I can pay it forward. Maria is a treasure! - BTW, The Grand Champion Wash is STILL the way to go, and STILL worth every penny. Thanks again y'all. --- 6-29-25 --- PS: I am super cheap (and Scottish) but The Grand Champion Wash is the way to go! Worth every penny. - My first ever visit was this Sunday morning and everyone was cheerful and happy. I went through the wash and was back on the road in 5 minutes or so. Truck looked great! (2 pics) * months of grime gone! I have always handwashed it because I don't have a bed cover, but have not been able to since last October due to my newly acquired disability. I was pretty hesitant, but the super sweet lady that checked me in made it quick and easy, Thank you! Found a permanent place, looks like.
